First established in 1968, Mutya ng Pilipinas is an iconic pageant celebrating the beautiful Mutyas or jewels in the Philippines. The pageant is a stage that highlights the beauty of the Philippines’ natural gems—its unique archipelago, the diverse flora and fauna, pristine beaches and islands, impactful ethnic-inspired creations, bayanihan, amazing food, and the Filipino people.
The Mutya ng Pilipinas Organization exists to raise the bar of Philippine pageantry, as a platform where beauty queens are showcased as empowered women—driven with a sense of purpose, and a passion to make a difference.
What We Stand For
To Empower.
We cultivate a yearning for collective harmony and sustainable growth. We are unwavering in our belief in the advantages of inclusive growth, in a society where everyone is given equal rights, opportunities, values, and greater access to resources that empower them to live up to their fullest potential.
To Inspire.
We want to inspire the youth to become responsible adults, and to influence the current adults to strive harder at giving their children a better and brighter future. We want to encourage powerful people to give back to deserving causes and charities.
To Build a Purposeful Tomorrow.
We acknowledge that environmental and social issues are at the center of humanitarian crises, and that they may heighten risk and vulnerability at such times. These causes are integrated into our organizational humanitarian response by establishing strategic collaborative projects with social and environmental organizations, to further promote understanding of the emergency issues and propose workable initiatives.
